All members of Boards and Commissions are appointed by the Village President with the approval of the Board of Trustees. Each member must be a resident of the Village for a minimum of one year prior to appointment. All members of Boards and Commissions serve without compensation.
Each appointed member holds office until a successor has been appointed and has qualified. Vacancies are filled for unexpired terms only.
A majority of the members of any Board or Commission as designated by Code constitutes a quorum and a concurring vote of a majority of members present is necessary in order for the Board or Commission to take affirmative action or to make a recommendation to the Village Board.
All meetings of Boards and Commissions are open and public.
