Code Adoption

The following building codes were adopted (02-19-08) in the Village of Northfield:

• Single Family Residential:

  • 2006 International Residential Code

• Commercial and Multi-family:

  • 2006 International Building Code

Building Construction Hours

• Monday through Friday - 7:00AM to 7:00PM

• Saturday - 9:00AM to 5:00PM

• Sunday - 12:00 Noon to 5:00PM Sunday

• National Holidays - 12:00 Noon to 5:00PM Sunday
