The Village of Northfield's Manager's office is responsible for the day-to-day
and longterm coordination and operation of Village services. Duties include personnel
and labor relations, the preparation and administration of the Village budget, intergovernmental
relations and organizing and implementing the Village Boardl's policies. The City Manager is hired
by the Village Board and serves as the Village Boardl's chief advisor.
The Manager's office is also responsible for coordinating communication between
community residents, the Village board and all third party orgnizations that work
with the Village.
