The Public Works Department annual reports are published on a yearly basis to outline the
status, progress and achievements of the Public Works Department throughout the past year. Each
annual report outlines information regarding staffing, recruitment, capital
investments, and Village infrastructure. Each annual report also
sets forth guidlines for the next year's goals and objectives.
On May 1st, 2004 the Fire-Rescue Department transitioned to a pay-per-shift department
hiring fulltime fire and rescue personel from surrounding communities to operate in a part
time scheduling arrangement. The pay-per-shift program was implemented to address concerns
regarding employee recruitment and hiring, and to improve general response time of emergency
service personel
