This January and February, the Village Hall Art Gallery will feature art created by New Trier Extension (NTX) art students. Their work is the product of the adult learners in both Tom James’ and Fran Vail’s art classes offered through NTX. The artwork consists of drawings, acrylic, oil, and watercolor paintings. Local featured artists include Ellen Binder, Maggie Gleason, Susan Isenberg, Sue Janusz, Tom Jennings, Carol Kroll, Nancy Kupke, Joe McPhillips, Diane Moe, Robert Pankauskas, Christine Porter, Robert Sawyer, Rachel Siegel, Olga Stokes, Leslie Wilner, Maureen Yamashiro, and Maggie Zielinski.
NTX is the community education program of New Trier Township High School District 203. NTX typically offers more than 300 onsite classes throughout the year during fall, winter-spring, and summer sessions where community members can get together to exercise, create, learn a new skill, or play games like bridge and mah jongg. For more information on the NTX program offerings, visit www.ntx203.net.
Please join us on January 17 for NTX’s gallery opening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Village Hall. You can also view the exhibit any time Village Hall is open, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM.
