This January and February, the Village Hall Art Gallery will feature art created by New Trier Extension (NTX) art students. Their work is the product of the adult learners in both Tom James’ and Fran Vail’s art classes offered through NTX. The artwork consists of drawings, acrylic, oil, and watercolor paintings. Local featured artists include Shelly Berk, Ellen Binder, Howard Cohen, Maggie Gleason, Pamela Goren, Diana Hackbarth, Sue Janusz, Tom Jennings, Carol Krofl, Nancy Kupke, Jean Lyne, Joseph McPhillips, Diane Moe, Holly O’Connor, Robert Pankauskas, Christine Porter, Robert Sawyer, Susan Segal, Wendy Sharon, Rachel Siegel, Nancy Streiff, and Fran Vail.

NTX is the community education program of New Trier Township High School District 203. NTX typically offers more than 300 onsite classes throughout the year during fall, winter-spring, and summer sessions where community members can get together to exercise, create, learn a new skill, or play games like bridge and mah jongg. Please join us on January 16 for NTX’s gallery opening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Village Hall. You can also view the exhibit any time Village Hall is open, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM.
